Artist, Sangeet Visharad and educator in Hindustani classical music and painting.
Art, music and a shared love of learning
Rujuta’s creative practice spans visual art and Hindustani classical music. Her paintings include floral studies, landscapes and devotional subjects, using colour and imagery to bring different aspects of that practice into view.
Alongside her artwork, she teaches online vocal music and painting. Her music lessons cover foundations such as sur and taal, progressing to raags and bhajans.
Her teaching information describes more than five years of experience teaching students in the US, with lessons for children aged five and above as well as adults.
